Team

The Performance Team is a collaborative of senior consultants in leadership, values, strategy and organizational change. Each consultant contributes to driving performance through his or her field of expertise as a trainer, advisor, consultant or project manager. This allows teams to be developed according to the needs of your organization or project. Other team members join as needed to carry out a project.


Dr. George Joehnk
San Antonio, TX

George Joehnk, an Elder in The United Methodist Church for over 25 years brings a unique perspective to the religious and not for profit organizations he serves. Prior to going into the ordained ministry Dr. Joehnk spent 12 years in the financial field. His background and education includes degrees in Management, Sociology in Business, Masters of Theology, Doctorate of Ministry in Organizational Growth and Behavior. In addition Dr. Joehnk has served on Conference Boards dealing with Personnel and Equitable Salaries, Pensions and Health Benefits, and Outreach and Development. Dr. Joehnk also is a Fellow with the National Association of Church and (NFP’s) Business Administrators, and a senior peer reviewer for the United Methodist Association EAGLE program where he was the major contributor to their manual on Covenantal Relationships and Agreements between institutions and religious bodies.

Currently Dr. Joehnk serves as the Executive Director of Church and Community Relations for Methodist Healthcare Ministries (the largest independent funding foundation in Southwest Texas for the poor and underserved). In addition to his responsibilities at Methodist Healthcare Ministries, Dr. Joehnk is the owner of a consulting business (Management Ministries) which for the past 18 years has worked with religious and NFP organizations and institutions in the areas of strategic planning, visioning, budgeting and values implementation.


Sallie Lee Sallie Lee
Asheville, NC

Sallie Lee, principal of Shared Sun Studio in Asheville, NC, has spent her career in the areas of organizational and international development, consulting in diverse corporate, academic, governmental, and domestic and international non-profit environments. She has facilitated hundreds of workshops on the human dimensions of change and transition as well as coaching organizations from start to finish on the strategies and collaborations necessary for start-up, expansion, and reinvention.

Sallie has had her own consulting practice for eleven years, specializing in whole system transitions and collaborative processes. Trained in psychology and philosophy at NC State University, she also holds an MA in International Development from the University of Miami. She spent six years in Latin America, giving her strong communication skills in both Spanish and English.

She has a certificate in Global Change and Social Innovation from Case Western Reserve University. Directed by the originator of Appreciative Inquiry, David Cooperrider, she has developed a curriculum for effectively and quickly enabling workshop participants to use AI in their own organizations.


Maryjane Bullen Maryjane Bullen, brings a diverse background to strategic change work in the public and private sectors, including 15 years at the World Bank.

She is also an adjunct professor at American University in the Master's in Organizational Development program teaching Organization Analysis and Strategy.

Maryjane is a master trainer for Cultural Transformation Tools, an international organization. She is a master practitioner in NLP as well as a Third Party Neutral mediator certified by the Canadian Institute for the Conflict Resolution. She has degrees from University of Houston and American University. She is a founding member of The Values Collaborative.
